Countryside contracting covers a wide range of projects including the following:

- Rhodendron control - we undertake projects to clear invasive areas of 'Rhody'. From small woodland areas to large hillside areas infested in this non-native plant. We specialise in awkward sites where control by machine is either difficult or potentailly damaging. Cutting with chemical control has proved very effective.

- Bracken Control - from field edge bracken invading valuable or sensitive grassland to sensitive moorland areas. Control measures from mechanical cutting to chemical control.

- Scrub Control - Areas of farms, land, estates which have developed into 'scrub'. While scrub is a valuable ecological habitat landowners may have other requirements for the area of land. 'Scrub' may include gorse, blackthorn, hawthorn and bramble or heavy weed infestation.

- Weed Control - invasive and noxious weed control, from nettles to Japanese Knotweed. Control by mechanical cutting to chemical application.

Our team members are trained to NPTC or Lantra standards in chainsaw use, brushcutters and chemical application.
